So lovely to welcome the European project team to our Clevedon Goldies Sing&Smile group yesterday, supporting with the project 'Therapeutic Interventions for The Support of Those with Alzheimer's Disease'.
At Goldies we sing-along to the popular hits of the 50s onwards, chat laugh and dance with a cup of tea. Everyone is welcome and many people attend who have early onset Dementia and Alzheimer's.
Music is a fantastic tool/therapy for those with memory loss and we are always happy to work in partnership, to share our research and findings, so that we can promote these benefits and bring memory evoking music to all.
